NYFW: Men’s Tmall China Day presents China’s most powerful fashion design, showcasing the latest and best collections. It gives the most outstanding Chinese designers a central platform and gateway into the US market. Tmall China Day aims to boost the worldwide recognition of Chinese Design, and promote global opportunities for Chinese fashion brands.

 




NYFW: Men’s Tmall China Day presents China’s most powerful fashion design, showcasing the latest and best collections. It gives the most outstanding Chinese designers a central platform and gateway into the US market. Tmall China Day aims to boost the worldwide recognition of Chinese Design, and promote global opportunities for Chinese fashion brands.

 





The fact that ‘China Day’ has been officially incorporated into NYFW: Men‘s is a major statement to the key influencers in the international fashion industry, and the first multi-channeled platform of its kind to focus exclusively on the promotion of Chinese brands. Going forward, each new ‘China Day’ will be a focal point for international fashion media outlets and buyers who will have access to a comprehensive and multi-faceted overview of each brand through new collections, runway show, presentations and showcases. In co-operation with local New York showrooms, mainstream retailers and buyers will be invited to visit and order stock during the event.

 

NYFW: Men‘s Tmall China Day is designed to be open, diverse, and incorporative, reflecting the vast spectrum of individual consumer patterns and aesthetic tastes. That means that brand selection was not mapped to a single aesthetic blueprint, or follow a particular historical course of development or made to match a given market size. Instead, choices were guided by the need to represent the rich tapestry of the Chinese fashion industry today, by picking both popular commercial labels cutting-edge designer brands,and drawing the outlines of China’s inclusive fashion ecosystem.

Capitalizing on its unique platform and technology, Tmall has managed to combine traditional sales channels with the power of the internet. ‘China Day’ has been based on the successful ‘See Now Buy Now’ model, which means that after opening millions of customers across the planet will have instant real-time access to live footage and photographs as the event is unfolded on Tmall’s dedicated ‘China Day’ page, and be able purchase a selected range of products showcased during the kick-off event.
