On May 22, 2024, McDonald's China officially launched the 2024 Children's Day series theme event, in collaboration with the globally renowned international artist Mr Doodle. Together, they have introduced the collaboration series "A Chicken McNugget, A Piece of Happiness!" Centered around McDonald's classic product, the Chicken McNugget, this series features exclusive McDonald's x Mr Doodle art doodles, blending the never-ending joy of DoodleLand with McDonald's wish to bring happiness and well-being to the world. They invite both children and adults to experience the fun and joy of Children's Day in this whimsical world, while enjoying delicious food.

The Chicken McNugget was created in 1983 and has become a global classic at McDonald's, enjoyed by countless people every day. During the event, McDonald's is offering a special deal of 20 Chicken McNuggets for 20 RMB, along with four dipping sauces. On Children's Day, there will be a special surprise with an extra Chicken McNugget. Additionally, customers can purchase a new toy, the "McWalkie-Talkie," bringing extra fun and interaction.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For this Children's Day series, McDonald's has invited Mr Doodle to create a series of art doodles. During the event, customers who purchase designated meals at McDonald's can receive limited edition doodle packaging, experiencing the cross-over of art and taste. On May 24, Mr Doodle will make his first appearance in mainland China, painting live and sending his best wishes for Children's Day through his whimsical creations.

Limited-edition doodle merchandise, including T-shirts, socks, and shoulder bags featuring the Milkshake Man, Hamburglar, Birdie, and Chicken McNugget doodle elements, will be available for purchase. The artist collaboration event will run until late June, and during the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival and Father's Day, McDonald's will offer more peripheral products.
