After the successful launch of two MIZUNO "WAVE PROPHECY SORAYAMA" collaboration by the well-known Japanese sports brand MIZUNO and the world-renowned Japanese surrealist artist HAJIME SORAYAMA, the legendary artist serves up a final iteration of his futuristic collaboration. MIZUNO "WAVE PROPHECY SORAYAMA" would be officially released in China on May 14 in limited quantities.




After the successful launch of two MIZUNO "WAVE PROPHECY SORAYAMA" collaboration by the well-known Japanese sports brand MIZUNO and the world-renowned Japanese surrealist artist HAJIME SORAYAMA, the legendary artist serves up a final iteration of his futuristic collaboration. MIZUNO "WAVE PROPHECY SORAYAMA" would be officially released in China on May 14 in limited quantities.

 





Sorayama's custom “INFINITY WAVE” sole unit consists of a mirrored gold top plate sandwiched with a milky rubber outsole that arches over the heel. The gold plating is visible through bottom cutouts while scaling air pockets on the midsoles offer reactive lightweight cushioning, bringing infinite stability to the foot.

 

Arriving in a sleek metallic design reminiscent of Sorayama's sexy robot series, the final "WAVE PROPHECY SORAYAMA" collaboration arrives in white semi-translucent uppers, with matte gold accents along the eyestays and lateral RUN BIRD logos, and metallic pieces secured on the heel counter. The WAVE PROPHECY SORAYAMA logo is located on the inside of the sole, and the double name on the insole is proof of SORAYAMA's design.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As the well-known sports brand in Japan, Mizuno has been adhering to the core spirit of “REACH BEYOND” since 1906. The Prophecy series integrates functional aesthetics with futurism. Since 2011, it has been widely recognized for its unique infinite Wave sole shape with Mizuno's avant-garde functional aesthetics. There would only be released 1068 pairs of Mizuno x Hajime Sorayama "WAVE PROPHECY SORAYAMA" prophecy series for Chinese market. At 10 am on May 10, the reservation and draw channel for Tmall, JD.com, Dewu and some Mizuno offline stores will be officially opened. On May 14, the draw results will be officially announced, and the products will be launched simultaneously in the trendy stores like THE HALL, SKP-S, DOE, FOSS, DEAL, WZK and NEWOK. Mizuno official Tiktok store also will be launched through live shopping.
