In June, vivo launched vivo X50 Pro+ (Plus) as its flagship smartphone of 2020. Ahead of its sale in July, the company announced on its weibo officially that the limited edition in collaboration with fashion designer Alexander Wang would be released. Two months later, the collaboration product came out on time.

Earlier in March of 2020, vivo launched "Limited Edition vivo X30 by alexanderwang". Thus, this is the second handset from the vivo company in association with the fashion designer, Alexander Wang. "vivo X50 Pro+ (Plus) alexanderwang Limited Edition" comes in a single 12GB + 2565GB storage configuration priced at 5,998 RMB . According to the company, these 1,000 units have been sold out on the launch day, September 17th.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

"vivo X50 Pro+(Plus) alexanderwang Limited Edition" only 1000 units are up for grabs and each of them has an exclusive code. In terms of production process, this limited edition adopts the dark-tone color overall, just like alexanderwang’s classic black style. The back cover of the product is printed with alexanderwang's iconic symbol --- "wang" that is a holographic texture customized logo. When there is a light from different angles, the product will reflect different colors. Moreover, Alex also penetrated his own design language into the vivo system, and launched an exclusive customized UI interface.

On September 16 at 8 pm in China time, Alexander Wang appeared in vivo's Tmall live broadcast room for doing interaction with Chinese consumers. Additionally, Alex's friend, vivo brand spokesperson, supermodel Liu Wen also appeared in as well. During that time, she opened up the packaging box of the limited edition smartphone with the number "NO.0127" which is Liu Wen's birthday.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It is reported that the number of viewers of this live broadcast exceeded 166,700 people and it got the number of likes reached 1.33 million.
